In the highly-anticipated return of The Bachelorette popular and beautiful Rachel becomes the first African American star of the series. After 33 combined seasons, The Bachelor franchise finally decided to do what they should have done long ago. With an exciting and diverse group of men and a charismatic and fun-loving star, this season has tremendous potential. Let's hope Rachel is also unique in managing to make it a season without us turning on her.

Week: Aired Summary
11: 8/7 Rachel concludes her season by losing a showdown with Peter over his unwillingness to propose and settling for the guy who was more willing to lie in order to play the game.
10: 7/31 The Tell-All becomes the Lee apology tour.
9: 7/24 Rachel introduces the suitors to her family and goes on two fantasy suite dates. Bryan's charm comes under suspicion and Peter refuses to propose according to the show's arbitrary timeline.
8: 7/17 Rachel goes on some truly terrible hometown dates and coincidentally eliminates the person with the weirdest family.
7: 7/10 Rachel sheds the dead weight.
6: 6/28 Kenny prevails over Lee, only to remove himself from the game later. Eric advances his cause, while WIll struggles.
5: 6/26 Kenny vs. Lee heats up, Jack Stone is easily sent home, Peter gets some action in the hot tub, and Josiah reveals himself to be a player.
